    the 2 5/16 ball hitches that i have found are rated at 25k but isnt that over kill unless you have a vehicle bigger than pickup to pull a trailer capable of 25k

    your transfer case looks like a New Process 261 but i am no expert i would think your plan would work but if your going to use the truck to haul the amount a 3/4 ton truck can handle i would find a 3/4 ton front axle i would also not use the 700r4 trans since they are known for problems...

    i agree with 89suburban go to the scrap yard or u pull and get a trans The place i had worked for helping pull and rebuild transmissions was pretty expensive put we always installed better parts like black bands and clutch packs and jr. shift kits

    another probable cause is a worn or broken trans pump and its might not be creating enough pressure also you may have a stuck 2-3 valve in the valve body

    ya well you have lawyer:upyours: to thank for emission standards in PA i took the test and the rules and regulations are so messed up unless u live in carbon county and any other county that doesnt have emissions we all have the same problem and it only gets worse the newer ur vehicle

    the 6v53T which is a 2 stroke which has a turbo and blower from factory is pushing 233hp @2500 rpms and 489 ft lbs of torque @ 2500 rpms the only problem the motors are expensive if your looking for a remand or even a used one

    okay thanks trying to talk to my friend on the phone on how to find it on his truck when they have know clue what they are looking for plus they just drove six hours and had the problem start and check engine light came on and increased the engine temp
