    well i sprayed the transmission hump, under the seat and behind the seat and rolled the rest the only problem i have found was i didnt roll it thick enough and were my foot moves to go from the gas pedal to the brake pedal it wore throught the bedliner

    look by the starter near the exhaust manifold there should be a tube with wires coming out of it they might have melted and caused a short which can kill the whole truck since the starter is the distribution point for power to everything

    for the whinnig noise check the fluid in the trans make sure it is at the right level also i believe first gear is a spur gear and they tend to whine more than helical gears but are better for transmiting torque for the leak it might be the rear bearing gasket and retainer
