    There are driving restrictions listed on the application. Plate good for several years, no inspection required. My buicks have antique plates, and my Blazer will in a couple years when it is eligible.

    The quadrajet is designed for best fuel economy, and performance. Yours may need to be built to fix issues from wear and age. But it will be your best option. As mentioned, good tune, exhaust flow and fresh quadrajet would possibly help you on mpg's.

    They are fun. The convertible has a 455 +.030. close to 500hp. This red on is a 72 also, and dyno'd at 648 hp with a 455 +.038. Ran a 10.71 @ 126 mph with street tires. happy with that. And no, red ar doesnt have a quadrajet at this time.

    It was overheating a little when pulling the race car on the trailer, so it's time to give it a little attention. I got a new radiator, hoses, water pump, thermostat, etc. So out it comes.

    Is you choke similar to this? Is it connected to the choke coil thermostat mounted in the intake? Make sure the upper choke flap is all the way open when engine is warm, or if choke isnt connected. I agree with others. You have condensation dripping from exhaust.

    typically, your idle speed may be too high and/or your timing may be advanced a little too much. start with your idle speed.
