    i would love to do a write up but im in the stages of my k20 flatbed project. If no one doese it when I start the project i would do it but it sounds like elstm 3 has done it. A write up would be awesome because I still want to do it. So If I do Do it I will make sure to do a write along as I go.

    There not quate square they are round but some of them run with the bolt part of the u bolt faceing the ground

    Alot of stock you bolts go face down where the bolts are on the leaf spring and the bolts on the bottom. The ones I picked up from school make it so the bolts are on the top.

    So the round part of the U bolt are on the bottom of the axle I makes it for better ground clearance.

    I think I am going to try to do the conversion. I have a 2 wd chevy crewcab that i want to convert to 4wd. I also plan on cutting it down and and makeing it a short bed.

    It is open dif If was not then both would spin the same way. Open dif help you with turning So yes it is perfectly normal.

    Pulled the entire rear assmebley of a crew cab yesterday. (56 inch leaf spring dana 70 and swaybar) Plan on using the 56leafs for my k20. The dana 70 Idk.

    I am building a Chevy k20. I have a build album I just started I am in the early stages of the build and had a 14 ff with a Detroit and a Dana 70. I Already had the 14 bolt ff in mind i just wanted a second opinion. And to what i am building I have a build album that i just started.

    Man those springs look great can not wait to take the wire wheel to mine and clean them up. I am also thinking of buying greasable bushings.

    Just started to grind of the rear spring hangers to run a shackle flip and 56 inch leaf springs. Man This is going to take forever lol. I am using the front hangers of 4wd trucks instead of buying the ord shackle flip. Then i am going to rhino line my 4x4 flatbed.
