    Help identifying these connectors

Well that's exactly what it is!! It's a 1989 k3500 cab and chassis Cheyenne with a 454 TBI , a 4 speed Muncie with 4:10 gears and IFS. Supposedly came off of a show room floor at a dealership in New Mexico

    Help identifying these connectors

No it's a K3500 1989. The solenoid is the one that engages the 4x4 in the front axle

    Weak lifter

I understand what your saying but these lifters do not even have the ring around the bottom like all hardened lifters have.. at least all that I've ever seen

    Weak lifter

I honestly don't think anything as far as the type of oil or additives etc would have given different results in this instance. The lifters are unhardened Chinese junk first of all!! I don't plan on using the lifters that come with the new kit... probably going to use Howards

    Weak lifter

I followed the instructions supplied with the cam and used dino 5w30 oil. So yes yes and yes

That's what the summit additive has in it is the required zinc. I used dino 5w-30 oil.

    Weak lifter

I ran some more oil thru the engine with a magnet attached to the drain plug and pulled all sorts of metal shavings from the engine!!

    Weak lifter

I wouldn't exactly say that!! Here's the lifter I pulled out!!! The lobe didn't get wiped down but the edge is completely rounded off. Summit sending new cam kit tomorrow free of charge

    Weak lifter

I changed the oil and saw no metal shavings anywhere

    Weak lifter

I started the engine up without valve cover to see what that rocker arm was doing and it wasn't moving hardly any at all. Very little oil was coming out of it either but it was oiling some. This is a brand new cam and lifter with new springs as well. It was a kit from Summit. Is this a bad...

    Weak lifter

I finally got my new 454 put back into the truck after installing a new cam and lifters. I got it fired up and it had a lifter tick. I went back in and readjusted all the lifters valve lash.....two more times and it still had the tick. And may I add that's one of the most annoying sounds to hear...

    Help identifying these connectors

Well I finally got them figured out. The white four prong connector goes to the front axle...not the four wheel drive solenoid. The two prong connector goes to the four wheel drive solenoid. Now the question i i have is exactly what could the front axle have that needs power to it? The only...

    Help identifying these connectors

The air injection connector is already accounted for...and I figured out the four hole connector....it's for my 4 wheel drive solenoid on the front axle....I do have a manual transmission and it's not been touched, neither has the transfer case so any connectors to those items are still hooked...

    Help identifying these connectors

Can someone please help me and tell me what these connectors go to. It's on an 1989 k3500 manual transmission with a 454. I had pictures of all the wires and where they went but my phone went swimming and I lost everything.ive got most everything thing else figured out but these. The white plug...

Oil filter by pass valves on generation VI 454

Oil filter by pass valves on generation VI 454

Bucket....isn't the B port for the oil cooler lines and the A port is for filter? So if that's the case shouldn't it be the A port for the filter bypass that I would need to change to the 30 psi since I'm using the oil filter relocation kit and factory oil cooler lines that go into ports C and D?

Oil filter by pass valves on generation VI 454

Bextreme04...yeah the engine is a mystery motor for sure. The casting numbers on it are not on any database whatsoever...

Oil filter by pass valves on generation VI 454

Bextreme04...the block is a generation VI but it's not set up using the roller provisions. It was set up as a TBI engine. Weird as it seems I know!! I've already upgraded the cam and lifters. I've been in contact with Brian Harris of Harristbimods(awesome guy and very knowledgeable on TBI stuff)...

Oil filter by pass valves on generation VI 454

Ok, the truck is a 1989 k3500 with the factory installed oil cooler....I'm going to be using this oil cooler and the lines will be hooking up to the C and D ports that are a generation VI 454. The oil filter relocation kit is one that goes in place of the original oil filter because the original...

Oil filter by pass valves on generation VI 454

Ok I figured out how to load a picture..so this is what they are showing where the bypass valves are and such. Which ones do I change or plug or whatever for my situation?

Oil filter by pass valves on generation VI 454

Ok, I'm confused now. I've got a 1989 k3500 that I'm putting a crate engine in that is a generation VI 454. I'm having to install an oil filter kit because the oil filter will hit my front drive shaft as it is. And with the 90 degree adapter it puts the oil filter in the way of the exhaust...
