    Where to buy tires

I would be good with either stock-sized or oversized tires. I have found a military surplus 30 minutes from my house that has 35x10.5x16.5 Good Year wrangler tires for $135 a piece. The tires were made in 2018 and have light tread use.

Would it be any cheaper or easier to do a manual transmission swap than buying a new block and switching all of the engine components onto a new block?

I've gotten the inner beads with a wire wheel on an angle grinder, but that doesn't remove the material in small hard to reach areas of the bead.

I want to get my wheels media blasted because they are rusted to the point that I can't get the bead of the tire to be seated. I don't know what the best way to get it done is. Starter mounting on a 350

I want to replace the starter with a lighter starter, since there is not an easy way to mount the original starter. Would I have to change any other parts of the mounting system?

    Starter mounting on a 350

I found this picture on another forum that shows the problem that I am having. This makes the starter mount loose to the point that the gears were ground off the last time the truck was started.

    Starter mounting on a 350

I am new to the forum, my uncle is giving me his old K20 as long as I am willing to put in the work, time, and money to get it back on the road. I have not started working on the truck yet, but I went to look at it today to see what all needs to be done. It has not been moved under its own power...
