    Naw no old motor oil. Guess Ill just use this new stuff and change it next week again. All I got left now is to put the intake on and the accesories and drop in the dizzy. Only been on it since bout 3 and Ive been takin breaks and eatin and even watched a movie earlier lol.

    You have to elongate the 2 center bolt holes on the intake (or swap your 87-95 heads over), swap sending unit in tank, fuel lines ran, ecm and harness installed. Good to go! If your planning on buyin a TBI setup why not go even newer? Unless you already have it layin around.

    Sounds a lil better. Depending on how the cylinder walls look I might just re-ring it and put new bearings in it along with an oil pump, timing set, and my XE274. Im wanting to rebuild this trans too. Its a TH350C (lockup) but the lockup isnt plugged up.

    I know the stock vortecs are limited on camshaft lift (.480) I think. But I know you can get a pair of GMPP that will take more lift for around $600 a head I due believe. I want it all NOW!!! My last engine spun a bearing and locked up. Im gonna be puttin in another shortblock in about a month.

    Thanks for the welcomes. Hey Irish yeah its a fun bike. Talk about a powerband lol. First time I rode it after my tune and sprocket change I thought my clutches were slippin. Turned around and there was about a 150ft black mark from tire spin lol. Its out of comission right now tho.
