Stumbled a little for a quarter mile or a half mile while giving it a little throttle going 45mph

I like the plugs and wires idea. The distributor is as old as the engine (5 years). Take a look at the inside of the fuel filter, attached. I just replaced it and am going to try firing it up. Might clean out the gas tank when I replace the sheet metal in the rear end.

Stumbled a little for a quarter mile or a half mile while giving it a little throttle going 45mph

5 year old 350 engine, 10 year old 1406 edelbrock I have rebuilt a couple times. Fuel pump is a couple years old. I think it might be a vacuum leak but I did just adjust the choke to the front of the truck considerably (eighth or a quarter turn) because I am fed up with the fast idle slipping...

Fuel pump pushrod won’t slide into block

I know its a difficult spot to get a good picture of what that material is exactly... Its 99.999% something you could get out if you spent a day whittling down an easy out to get it all the way down to it and gently heating up the outside of the block with a butane torch I betcha would work...

SM465 Chatters when I get on it.

This is definitely the transmission chattering. I "recently" replacing the original 700R4 with my covid SM 465 transmission as a set with an NP 205 and adapter (but no power sleeve) that I got cheap from this kid who said he rebuilt it and it works well enough. I got a power sleeve from company...

NP 205 front output shaft gears slightly different?

My two front output shafts are slightly different and I am curious the reason. There is an extra groove in the gear on the 10 spline vs the 30 spline. See pic. Any ideas?

    Wipers barley working

A common place to find this ground and a few others is connected to the top of the parking brake assembly. See photo below. There is a ground block with 6 prongs for various wires to plug into. With the age of these trucks, the mounting hardware of the parking break pedal will corrode and...

Correct NP205 front output for '84 blazer

You are right though. I am going to probably put the 32 spline in the old case and rebuild it. Thanks for the suggestion!

Correct NP205 front output for '84 blazer

In your opinion it is "the best". If my plan was to put 45"+ tires on her down the road it would probably be my opinion too.

Correct NP205 front output for '84 blazer

Anymore spacers* FTFY Just another good reason to leave the stock 30 spline. What is 30 spline good up to 40" tires and 800 #-ft? Doubt Ill change it but that does sound cool!

Correct NP205 front output for '84 blazer

Might as well just go with a ford 9" rear and be done with it HAHA! I wonder how much room there is with the bigger CV over the cross member. Might have to shorten her a bit if I'm going to go with something bigger. Maybe spacers between the frame/cross member and cross member/transmission...

Correct NP205 front output for '84 blazer

I purchased a very nicely rebuild transfer case from ***** transmission company. Everything looks great except for the front output. They sold me a 1.125" diameter 10 spline front output. The invoice says 78 - 84 10SPLinput but no mention of the output shafts. My quick youtube wikipedia...
