    Ball Joints

    On RockAuto all four Moog ball joints were roughly $120.....maybe a bit less with the %5 off......Moog at O'reillys was about $10 more for each ball joint. I just went with the AC Delco, I hope I don't regret it, but hey they were about half price than Moog. I'll post the outcome

    Same thing was happening to me. Truck would only run if I jumped the those same wires. I ended up replacing the ECM and that fixed the problem.

    Well I'm thinking its gonna have alot to do with the timing. It is an edelbrock 1406 electric choke. Maybe the tuning (gas/air) is wrong. I'll just wait till it gets warmer to even try taking the engine out. Just a thought, would it be easier to take off the tranny/transfer case or the engine??

    Well I just turned it on and took it for a spin. Now i notice it only ticks when I step on the clutch. Again the ticking only starts when the engine warms up. Maybe something to do with the clutch release bearing?

    Well I got a ticking sound from the aluminum plate near the flywheel housing. The ticking starts once the engine warms up. Gets louder/faster when the gas in pressed. The sound also gets louder/different when I put some pressure on the plate. I'll be taking the plate off sometime this weekend...

    Hammer clearance trick? Sorry I'm not that motor savy :bawl: I already ordered some flowmaster super 44 series muflers based on youtube videos ($65 ea), even though it does depend on the quality of the videos. Hope I don't regret it. I appreciate it. I'll take a look at it some time this weekend.
