well i think i am just going to go with new springs, i graduate Saturday so i think i can afford it! the best price ive found is 150 for rear, that seems good to me what do yall think? -

i know that my driver side springs sag more than the passenger side.. but i am wondering if my bed mounts have issues? i measured the length between the axle and frame and its about 1/2in difference but it looks like a lot more lean than that. ideas? i also seem to recall the bed looked slanted... -

im about to go off to college, so im saving up to get some tools to start off my own tool box.. my question is are there any special tools(not your standard wrenches or sockets or anything) that are used enough that i might want to get for working on my truck? -

Cleaning truck that's been sitting outside
and this stuff can get out surface rust, dirt or whatever else is stuck in the paint! forgot to add that haha -

on my truck i used meguiares diamond cut compond and putting show car glaze on top then waxing. did wonders! but it takes a bit of time and elbow grease! oh and you have to wash your truck first for the best results! heres some pictures of before and after. hope this helps -
Post your toys, square or not
my first truck was that little yota, that thing was fun. managed to trade this for my k10! then i found an 02 s10 for cheap, but she is now in my driveway not driveable.. of course my square! and then my bike so i dont kill myself at the gas pump all the time!- cmull

What have you done to your square lately??
visited a local pick and pull and got new valve covers and steering wheel center cap! got halfway through cleaning up the valve covers before i had to go to work to pay for them.. haha -
edlebrock valve covers
found them at a local pick and pull today and i picked them up for $8. i thought that was a really good price? i cleaned one up so far and i think theyll look nice on my truck, but ill need a new oil cap since i couldnt find the one for it anywhere near the truck.. could i order it from edlebrock?- cmull

rust repair?
my first truck was an old toyota so needless to say ive had some experience with body work! haha -
rust repair?
im looking for yalls opinion on if i should bother with the little bit of rust on my truck.. the only places that really has any rust is passenger door, behind the rear wheel wells, and in the bed. still has the original paint that still looks good and has never had any sort of body work before... -

how many leaves do your springs have? the ones on my truck have 6 and that seems a bit beefy for stock haha. i know the first owner was a farmer so im thinking he may have done what you did?- cmull

Im looking forward to restoring this truck! I think ive decided to keep it all original except maybe exhaust.. i mean the ladies love it! but anyways i traded this truck for a 1987 2x4 toyota with 240k miles! I think i did well! its a 78 k10 longbed with the original 350!- cmull
