    On door weather stripping

Cool thanks. The ones I have have places for a screw on each end, but the rest is glued on.

    Super hard starting motor

My motor is really hard to start, especially in the cold mornings. I have a elec fuel pump and I let it run for a few seconds to pressure up. Pump the pedal a couple times and crank. Literally takes me a good 8 minutes of repeating the above mentioned steps before I can get it going. Once I've...

    Blower fan not working

Ha, yeah i did that last night actually and the blower kicks on. I remember that when I rewired my truck, there was a wire that was left unplugged on the AC control. I think that it might be for the fan switch. Not sure why the new kit didn't have it, but all it had as the wire to power the...

    Oil sensor port

Gotcha. I watched a You Tube vid and the guy actually threw those rubber seals away and just put a 1/4" bead of RTV in place of those. He said they were notorious for leaks.

    Sticky ignition

Yes, I had thought that, and I know where that is on the column, but I don't understand how it works. What exactly does moving the part up and down do at the key?

    Oil sensor port

Brass. I'm going to pick up another one in the event that it is either cracked, or just not working. This time around I'll put a good amount of thread sealant on and hope that works. Oil does oil come out of the intake manifold gasket? I'm new, but trying to understand how that would work.

    Oil sensor port

Hmm, I suppose it could be coming from the back of the intake, but I'm almost certain it's the oil port. I can see and feel oil from the 1/4" extension that I have coming from the port.

    Oil sensor port

Definitely not coming from the unit itself as it's a brand new piece from Dakota Digital.

    Oil sensor port

I can't get oil to stop leaking from the oil sensor port on the back of the motor. I have used thread tape with no success. Looks like I'm going to have to pull it out again, and use sealant this time. Problem is that I have to pull the distributor in order the get it out. Anyone have this...

    Sticky ignition

Yeah no tilt for me. I'll open it up this weekend if I have time.

    Blower fan not working

I have the same problem as well. Heater works, but blower fan doesn't turn on at all. I have that inline tube fuse and it's good. Would the resistor coils be the root of my problem as well?

    Sticky ignition

It's pretty much sticky the whole way through. After cranking I have to pull it back. Also, my accessory position does nothing either. To get my radio to come on I have to move it to the ignition position, but then that turns my fuel pump on, which I don't want to do.

    On door weather stripping

So does anyone have these on their doors? Now that I'm driving my truck again, I get a lot of wind noise through the door and I can't stand it. Hoping to get these installed and kill the wind noise.

    Sticky ignition

My ignition switch is getting sticky. Any recommendation for a lube or spray of some kind that will smooth it out? Thanks in advance. Brandon

Bad luck with Fel Pro 1 piece pan gasket

Mine is the blue one as well. I was actually leaking from the bottom of the front part of the gasket at the lowest point below the balancer. I could actually move the gasket with my finder after it was in place. I also put it into the groove by hand to try to ensure that it didn't get folded or...

Bad luck with Fel Pro 1 piece pan gasket

Anyone had bad luck with these? After installing it twice, I was then told by someone in the shop where I bought it that the one piece pan gaskets don't work well with the older block 350's, only the newer ones. That they will leak badly on the front portion that mates with the harmonic...

    Rear discs

Because they are dumb. Seriously, they are a pain in the arse to work on. Discs are so much easier. And they look and work better too.

Rear disc brakes on the cheap

Any update on this subject? I want rear discs.

    Rear discs

I hate the drums on my truck. In fact I hate drum brakes in general. Thinking of converting my drums to disc. I found a kit from CPP and wondering if any of you have used it? I'm hoping that you don't have to pull the axles in order to install. I'd rather not have to do that if it's possible...

    painless wiring

^^^^ THIS!!! ^^^^ I bought their kit from Summit for $80 less than on their site. The kit is top notch. Very easy process, but it's time consuming. They have everything in the kit that you could possibly need and I'm very pleased. I would recommend them over and over again. The directions are...

    Wiper washer bottle holder

A ha! Yeah my fender has the screw holes for that bottle, but my bottle is different. I should be able to get a pic when I get back out to the truck tomorrow. Thanks for the pic.

    Wiper washer bottle holder

Any chance you have a pic of some kind?

    Wiper washer bottle holder

There isn't a hole for my washer bottle to fit into and this is bugging me. There is nothing on the bottle itself that I can just mount to the fender, so there has to be some sort of holder of some kind. Maybe from a later year perhaps?

    Ummm is this bad?

Yeah I'm of the same opinion. I think that i'll drive it until something happens. The parts were actually tucked up in the screen and you could hardly see them. I just happened to see a tiny part of one of the pieces hanging out and was like WTF? Something tells me that they didn't clean out the...

    Ummm is this bad?

I'll do it just to be sure. The motor ran awesome before I started working it. No knocking, pinging, or any other noise coming from the motor and no smoke of any kind from the exhaust. When I changed out the rear main seal, the bearing on the main cap was smooth. There was some slight...
