Headlight issue
2 thoughts come to mind... 1st. is maybe one of the sealed beams installed upside down? if not it could be a defective sealed beam. the position of the filament inside the sealed beam has an effect on the light pattern . try replacing both lamps. RT- roadtriper

Irishman, there aren't many around! they produced like 8600 of them over a 10 year span 66-76. and probably only half of those made it to the US. on top of that they weren't protected very well from corrosion, so many died from rust. AFAIK I have the only one in Maine. there was another but...- roadtriper

fuel guage goes to E when lights turned on
Also there is a ground wire from the fuel gauge sending unit(s) that atatches to the Bed or maybe the frame that needs to be clean and tight- roadtriper

Everyting here sounds like ground issues to me. which can also be poor connections on the back of the cluster as well I'd first check the grounds for the front lights at either the fenders or the radiator support.and make sure there is a good Battery to Frame ground and a good frame to body...- roadtriper
