    I use a website called RetailMeNot for coupons and discounts on stuff. They do have an app you can use on your smart phone as well. Today I saved $40 on a battery at Advance Auto list price $128, out the door for $96 including tax and turning in a core.

    If I came across a set of those late model wheels I'd grab them quick for mine, they're made by Alcoa IIRC and look great polished up and on a square.

    Tore down the throttle body to find out why it wasn't fueling, full of nasty crud. Its in the middle of being rebuilt.

    OP should have been able to retain the Tcase and shafts since the 4L60e and 700R4 are extremely similar. 4L60e is really an electronically controlled 700R4 with a handful of internal strength upgrades, a stronger case and removable bell housing in 1996+.

    My cousin has a 74 or 75 F100, 300-6 3 on the tree almost perfect except the left corner of the bed. I don't think it has ever seen a winter, my Uncle bought it for scrap price and it only needed a starter. He's a Ford guy.

    My grandad worked for UPS about 35 years ago pulling doubles, they were governed at 58, he said the trick to going up hills was to hit the governor coming down the previous hill with the turbo spooled and the truck had lots of power on reserve to pull the hills without slowing too much.
