    Do you think you could post a pic of what you are saying? I have a 208 and the crossmember actually mounts to the trans adaptor and the t case hangs behind it. A pic would really help explain your problem

    Just be careful with the starter bolts, 6.2s are bad about tearing them out of the block, and even breaking the ear off the block, make shure you put the starter bracket back on too. I always use a little blue loctite on the threads to make shure they don't loosen up

    Ospho works pretty well too for killing rust and is pretty cheap, too bad you live so far up north, I could get you a frame for free almost, and in a lot better shape lol, but stuff doesn't get so rusty down here unless it was a farm truck, then the cow poopoo eats them up.

    My project, 84 k20 6.2 diesel 2" rough country lift, 305 70 16 Goodyear dura trac. Still has a long way to go but it's a start
