Fresh big block with low oil pressure at idle.

Maybe try just putting a set of new lifters in, since it was pouring oil out of the one rocker, seems like there is something going on with that one component. Doesn't matter were it loses oil, it should still affect oil pressure, like a pipe with 50 spigots, no matter where you turn one on, the...

I had to grind mine also, some aftermarket ones are not rounded and don't fit through the hole. I have had no ill effects from grinding the sides a bit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Water in my Diff..

If you used a pressure washer I would definitely use wd to clean out the water, be shure to spray it real good in the oil path that goes to the pinion bearings. The front diff still looks pretty crusty IMO, but seein is that it only gets used once in a while it should be ok if the bearings are...

    Question about tranny

The lockup circuit is differant also, I did the swap in my truck. The later transmissions need an imput from the computer to lockup. I bought a kit off eBay that replaces the wiring in the pan, along with the pressure switch for fourth gear. That way it only locks up in fourth. Sent from my...

Had to pull the running diesel out couldn't wait till it sold. Do any of y'all have a use for them? I would be willing to give them to one of y'all that would actually use them. I would rather give them away than scrap them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    another "Whats that noise?" thread

What is your oil pressure? I noticed from the vid that oil is not flyin of your rockers and makin a mess everywhere. Could be oil pressure related and causing your lifters not to pump up, therefore giving you the clattering sound. IMO it could be a bad oil pump or a blockage somewhere. Oil...

    lift help!

35" tires usually fit a 4" lift with no rubbing as long as they are not super wide. IMO the 7" you have should fit the tires you have, from centerline of wheel, ur tires are only 2.5" taller than 35" tires. So the body lift is compensating for the extra tire size. Sent from my iPhone using...

What is broken and how do I fix it?

I'm pretty shure they make a rebuilt kit for it, I believe the technical name for it is a cardone join or something like that, a friend of mine said its a pain to put together with the spring that goes in there, but might be worth lookin in to.
