    Dads 92 astro wont start

So things we tried today, we used a 9v battery to jump the both the injectors and the each dripped about the same. I pulled my old TB out of storage and tore it apart so we could see what we may be getting into and after it was apart we filled the fuel bowls with carb cleaner and I jumped the...

    Dads 92 astro wont start

Ok, as the title says, my dads 92 chevy astro 4.3l tbi will not start. It was having issues with cold start and he replaced the cap, rotor, and plug wires, and the plugs were replaced not too long ago. The cold start issue seemed to be cleared up and he had no problems for a couple days, then...

    Air flow suggestions:

you could try to do something like the k&n filters on the 90s camaros It would probably have to be sharper bends to avoid the cluch fan but you could avoid having to go around a rad hose or your ac compressor. I dont know how well it would work with the hood/core support on a sb, just tossing...

What have you done to your square lately??

Finished recharging the battery, had my son help me re-crimp my fan and his magic touch made it work, pulled my mirror off to re-glue the glass again, hopefully this epoxy holds. Took her out to the store for a nice ride and so glad to not be driving the camry for once lol.

Adding shoulder belts to back rows in 88 suburban

My 88 only has lap for middle and 3rd row, I dont remember seeing any mounting points when I had the molding off but I wasnt looking either. Could probably fab some up with some extra front ones and make your own extremely sturdy mounting point

    Help

If you touch a wire and everything turns on then that wire is your culprit. If you have more that 2-3 repairs I would defiantly replace it.

    Headlight Relay Mod

The relays aren't too difficult, I actually prefer them because you can hook them up to your ignition switch and when you turn the truck off the relay turns off, also with relays you don't burn out switches.

Today I woke the old girl up from her winter resting spot, pulled the tarp off and went to get the rear bench seat from storage, stopped on the way back to fill the tank up at 3.25/gal. stuck a space heater in there to try to dry the inside out a lil bit, then snapped a pic on the way back to...

87 tbi stalls at lights and shifting in gears. Unless timing disconected.

I had a similar problem with my holly tb, I had to adjust my tps to 0.65 volts with the throttle plates closed. I cant remember if the tps on the stock tb is adjustable but that could be something to check.
