btw was that a spacer you had your throttle body on? cause mine was just sitting on a gasket there was no metal piece like yours- AMW

yeah i have to replace it the gasket on the bottom was ate up just fell apart my throttle body how should i clean it? and the surface the gasket sits on?- AMW

ok i watched your video that helps alot, ill pick up some starter fluid or carb cleaner? and spray around the hoses and all should i take my throttle body off and replace that gasket you were talking about btw im in Georgia we have oreilys autozone and advanced auto- AMW

i will also note that on the front of the throttle body there is two nipples for hoses to connect 1 small one on the left and 1 medium one in the middle under the big hose in middle they both have rubber caps on them?- AMW

Well the truck wont start out of gas....... so ill have to make a run to gas station some time and fill it up to see if the hoses plugged works. I think i have fount out what those hoses are dangling i think they go to a egr solenoid on my emissions sticker it shows a egr sol next to map sensor i dont have a egr sol someone must of tooken it off the truck at some time, could this be my problem?- AMW

im looking on google looks like this may be my problem it said vacuum leaks can cause engines to not run properly so ill deff check these hoses out and everything hopefuly this will fix the problem i can just replace all of my hoses aswell? if so what hoses would i buy- AMW

yeah if you can get some pictures of what the vaccuum lines look like and where they go that would help alot i read somewhere someone said on another site to spray starting fluid around the vaccuum lines and if the engine revs up then there is leak should i try this method?- AMW

i dont know about a fuel sending unit dont know what that is lol my gas guage does work tho google says the sending unit is with the gas gauge but if it is bad wouldnt my gauge not work?- AMW
