    i just have to set my timing now on the truck im gonna try to get the motor at tdc and then take distrubitor cap off see if it is aligned then reconnect and try to set timing

    yeah i got to replace those three hoses on top of fuel sending unit but they look fine for now just old cant believe how much these fuel sending units cost i seen 200$ for complete unit on ebay??

    lmc sells the whole left side or right side bed panels they dont sell parts i believe if anything est go to a machine shop have them cut some metal and bend it for you but buying the whole side of bed would look nicer,

    well i got the truck started i hooked a hose to fuel pump and to gas can with gas in it started and ran so now when i get more gas im gonna fill up the tank i cleaned and see if it sucks gas from it hopefully it will i do have the 3 hoses dangling plugged up it still ran so

    ok ill try that because its somthing befor the fuel pump on the outside i have3 total 1 underneath frame and 1 in each tank kinda puzzle me tho as to why both tanks pumps would all sudden stop working?

    well i got my right hand gas tank off took the float and interanal fuel pump thing out is there a way to test this thing see if it works? the gas in the tank was pretty dirty so was the gas in the fuel pump filter rust brown color

    ok i just got done checking the truck took fuel filter off turned truck on fuel pump comes on blows out air... switched to differnt gas tank both have about 4gallons each still air then unhooked hose befor fuel pump still no gas flows out of any of the hoses?

    ok thanks ill check that out, tomorow im gonna get a new fuel filter see if that changes anything with the gas as well but im pretty sure its somthing at the throttle body thats i put wrong or somthing

    Also im looking to buy a code reader for my truck but was wondering all of the code readers i find say 1998 and up did they not put codes on the 87s? cause my check engine light is on and id like to be able to see what it says and just have the reader for future convenice.

    k ill try that then i guess if gas is coming out at the throttle body then that means my injector wouldnt be working maybe they will need replaced or somthing my friend at autozone he told me to replace my map sensor that those can cause timing problems and even the motor to run like crap thats...

    i wonder did i put the fuel lines on wrong on the tb because they were tricky both ends on the tb and the line screwed together if i take the line off is there way to see if gas is flowing threw them? Also would having the injectors switched around on the throttle body cause them not to work...

    i also cleaned the throttle body pretty well with the carb cleaner lot of black liquid ran from it lol, im still worried about the two hoses plastic hard hoses that come of that plug with the etc wire tan and black wire those two hoses go nowhere that i can see?

    well i changed the hoses what hoses i could find to replace that is and i replaced the gasket to the throttle body tried to start motor lol out of gas fighures so i gotta wait till i can get some gas to test this all out getting the throttle body off was easy putting it back on was pain the two...
