Here's my plan, one piece at a time (most will prob be bought in pairs or sets) I'm going to transform
into - minus the color, dunno about tires but I'm sure I'll find something aggressive
Forest City, just above, shelby. Below Asheville and right beside Marion, morganton .
I'm that guy that goes against the flow. To many blue, red, black, 2 tone trucks around here. trying to pick a color nobody around here has.
Reviving old thread, wouldn't the exhaust running under the tcase crossmember be a bad thing. Maybe not for street queens but for those that actually use their 4x4. that seems like a great place to pancake the pipe/tube.
On a side note: anyone ever had problems with the tcase from the heat...
Hope that's not one of those ricer fart cans :smoke2:. But I have been wondering if they'd sound better on a true dual v8.
If you can weld, and have a way to roll sheets. I'd build my own muffler and instead of going to a chain shop. I'd hit the real mom and pop type shops there's a reason...
Last time I ran pane I wasn't using forktruck kits. I used a gotpropane kit for a 22r.
Then again my 350 doesn't have a whole lot of sensors and useless junk since it's carb. Just to keep it from cutting out on hill, the only carb I've found . Is the holly truck avenger but that's $700-900...
Any of you guys/ladies run dual fuel, I've ran pane on my yota's. But thought about duel fuel for the k10. Gas for cruising around on the road and pane for trail. Just not to many places around here to have the tanks filled to go full pane on the street.
I always for get the introductions since I'm use the forums. Pirate,NC4x4 etc.
Came over from the yota world so I'm not new to trucks. Just decided move up from 4cly back to v8's. Mostly for the towing capacity and having a full size older model truck. Not a fan of newer crap I like them...
84 scottsdale needs new bushing, exhaust (currently open headers :D) and all new springs and fix the bottom of the bed, there's no braces left under the floor.
I think a 4" lift with 34x10.50x15's on a 80's. Would look just as good as some 35's, talking about finding some super swamper ltbs btw. I just feel more stable on wider tires than tall and narrow.
Their fine for a street queen, I've never had them but know others who did. They suck is what I've heard from guys with built buggies.
If I had a set of tb's I'd grove the shit outta them. If they were free other wise I'd just get a set of tsl or boggers. The ltbs are great all around...
Who ever owned my truck last, ripped everything off - added a bunch of bumper stickers, started painting with spray paint. It looked good then they got sloppy and went over it with cheap spray on bed liner, I found all the emblems inside behind the seat, broken. Only thing left was the hood...
Mine after tune up,new calipers, pads, rear after cab brake lines & axle lines. Some pita wire brushing and purple power so I could inspect things more. I've only had it for about 3 months, been busy as hell so it only gets driven around the yard. 84 350/350/305 G80 what ever std ratio is...
