    85 c20 steering box fit in 85 k10?

I just replaced the steering box in a 79 C10, when driving you could move the wheel from 10 to 2 and not move the wheels. If it were me I would replace the steering coupler assembly when I had the gear box off. After the gear box/steering coupler and a new pitman arm, the truck steering is great.

    Help me decide on wheels.

Definitely going polished aluminum, definitely staggering them. No on the 20"'s, to me I feel like they are to modern looking with the low profile tires.

    Help me decide on wheels.

Fixing to lower a 79 C10 and can't decide on rims, Ive decided on 17's to help avoid problems with rubbing. I've got it narrowed down to 2 choices. 1). The AR torque thrust II. 2). The rev 107 full polished rally wheel. I Also like this wheel and see it on some 67-72's . I'm...

Picked up 2 brand new OEM door panels.

I bought a 79 from a customer of mine. She mentioned she had some door panels in storage that she would find and give me since I bought her truck. I didnt expect to ever get them so I ordered 2 new panels from LMC, I got the LMC panels in and she called me the next day and said she found...

NEWB with lots of lowering questions.

Thanks for all the help, I really appreciate it. Ive decided to do a 3.5/5 drop like you've recommended in past posts. Tell me what you think about a 2.5 drop spindle and 1" lower coil springs for the front, all Western Chassis components, and the Western 5 " flip kit for the rear...

What have you done to your square lately??

Bought a 79 SWB a few weeks ago for my son and we are restoring it. The last 2 weekends we have--- replaced all shocks, upper/lower radiator hoses, steering coupler, gear box, pitman arm, rear differential seal, changed the oil and put some 40 series flow masters on it.

NEWB with lots of lowering questions.

Your not hi jacking, its funny you posted the AR TT 2, thats what im leaning towards now, only in a 17 or 18. From all I gathered, there will be no alignment issues and the ride will be better since the truck will be on a lower center of gravity. I might go to a 5/3.5 drop, back spacing is my...

NEWB with lots of lowering questions.

I appreciate the help, you posted in another thread that a 5" flip kit would be easier than a 4" hanger kit, 5" would look better but I sure dont want to notch the frame. I guess its hit and miss on notching with a 5" flip kit?

NEWB with lots of lowering questions.

I am Googled out on trying to figure out answers to my questions, lowering has got to be the most complicated issue for me to understand, so I have to ask. 1979 Chevy C10 Big 10 SWB. EVERYTHING on this truck is original and needs replacing. I really like the looks of the 3/4 drop and these...
