Help! Headlight switch getting hot!
I realized that the crimp on the orange wire was weak so I re-crimped it. The terminal on the orange wire was also loose and was not completely snapped in to the headlight switch connector. The problem seems to be resolved. However I am still monitoring it just in case I'm wrong. But so far, so... -

That sounds like an awesome idea actually. As far as I know they're normal stock wattage sylvania headlights. One thing I failed to mention not knowing if it really mattered or not is that I have a Lance camper. Will that tend to draw more through the headlight switch? Sidenote; I have unplugged... -

I would say a lil toasty, actually. Def not as hot as it got before I replaced it. Thank you for the great input. I will definitely follow your advice. I'm a little skeptical about the loose crimp because I used both of my mitts and proceeded to crimp the life out of that wire. Just to confirm, the dome lights, turn signals and headlights still work. So I'm glad to hear its a circuit or a fuse problem. But that light switch with its little button is a pain in the a$$! The circuit that plugs into it is what I need to get to since thats where the orange wires were yanked...- DuallyGuy

I felt the button. And I pushed it while trying to pull the knob off and that sucker just wouldn't budge. I couldn't push any harder on the button without putting a permanent hole in my finger. I guess I will have to try again.- DuallyGuy

Truck died when switching tanks
I kept it switched on the newly filled tank. No i didnt try it again because I was afraid I would be left stranded. I will try that now that its parked at home though. Thanks a lot.- DuallyGuy

Hey there. I was filling up at the gas station yesterday. I started up my truck and realized that I had to switch over to the tank I just filled. Right as I hit my fuel tank selector button, the truck just died. It fired right back up though. Any suggestions why? Thank you in advance.- DuallyGuy

Roger that. My friend cleaned the throttle body when we replaced the injector connectors. He said the injectors looked good. The truck recently passed smog also. I dont see a sign of any smoke whatsoever from the tail pipe either.- DuallyGuy

Hmm...I just did the wires n plugs, but maybe I shouldve done cap n rotor too...is my timing a possible issue? Also I looked for loose vacuum lines but couldnt find anything disconnected. Unless theres vacuum lines hiding?- DuallyGuy
