Add me to the list of folks looking for the bumper thingys for the early bumper profile. Chrome is what I want. I wouldn't care to buy new if anyone knows of a source for them. -

Sounds pretty much like my story :D The long air hammer bits raised my eyebrow. What kind of air hammer do you have? I picked one up at harbor freight and that thing doesn’t do anything but make noise. Just curious what works so I can throw this pos in the bin -

TH350 Slips in Drive but will back up
No noticeable noise from it other than the delay to engage which I agree seems like a low fluid situation but it read good on the stick. I will look into changing the filter and replacing the fluid.- TravisB

My grandfather's 84 k10 has sat for ~5 years on the side of a hill in the yard with a bad fuel pump. He had a newer truck that was easier to drive than to fix the old truck and we never really needed it until recently. What new tools have you got lately?
I have the hand pump vacuum bleeder and have never got it to work correctly. I screwed with it for hours before asking the wife to just pump the pedal to bleed my brakes. I would have tossed it but it’s handy to test vacuum actuators. -
Best Cordless Tools?
I have Milwaukee stuff. In the 12 and 18v platform and like every tool I have. I did have a ratchet go wrong in the head of it and they shipped me a new one. The 5 year warranty is pretty legit. I have a contractor buddy that has all dewalt stuff and we give each other grief but they're both... -

I have an Ace in the next town over. I will try them out if I haven't pitched those sockets already. I haven't tried a ratchet but they wouldn't consider a single socket... Who knows maybe I got someone on a bad day. -

I said I would post later after getting some use in on these things. I have more time in on the 1/4 drive ratchet and really like them. The 90 tooth ratchets aren't the best action money can buy but are a huge improvement over the craftsman ratchets that come in those blow mold kits they sold 20... -

Well I got my cherry picker jack in and it works to raise and lower the boom unloaded. Sure is nice just holding a button to raise it too! Ha, my friend has a red TR3. I call it Stewart Little but I don't think the mouse drove a TR3. :crazy: He doesn't have that neat top with his but I think he has one of those half tonneu tops that covers the passenger seat -
Which carb to buy?
In the Qjet's defense my knowledge of tuning a carb was 0. This was in my "gaining experience" phase that I am still wondering when I will come out of. This was in the early stages of it though :laughing1:- TravisB

I had this same issue from the edelbrock I had. It worked fine for a couple of weeks but started that afterward. Do you have an electric fuel pump on it? I did and assumed it was making too much pressure for the floats to cut it off or my pressure regulator was failing. The cam was failing all...- TravisB
