    The finger test proves nothing for diagnosis. It could be 20psi and feel like a lot of compression when it blows your finger off the hole. Just report back to us when you start getting some numbers ;)

    It might not be oil, it could be mixture of rich gas/soot and condensation forming inside the pipe being carried to the tail pipe when you gave it the beans.     The motor will start…….. but it wont be happy, usually they give immediate tell-tale signs of sputtering and fire balls through the intake

    The other location it could live in is where the key warning alarm switch goes as a retainer. It was a thought that just popped into my head. They are both similar in size

    This fell out of my steering column as I I removed it from the truck. The column is being torn down for restoration and I’d like to know where this goes. The only place it looks like it could go is for the locking bar that operates the ignition switch in this part of the column. Thanks all

    Does your 12v power source leave the distributor while cranking? Remember it needs to be constant 12v until you turn the key off
