Fire out of top of carb
Drop something into engine, piece of gasket under valve, crossed plug wires, very lean? Does it run smooth for those 5 seconds if not, check vacuum, broken valve spring, ect. Pass. Side header gasket.
Header gaskets need to be heat cycled and re-tightened. Once they start leaking exhaust can burn the gasket up. Might be too late but I have had good luck using high temp silicone. Really weird air conditioning problem
First need flush fluid. Disconnect compressor, remove orifice tube. I don't measure the fluid. Just pour a cup or so in condenser and evaporator, using air hose blow it out. Do not use full pressure, especially on evaporator. Put a rag over the other outlet to avoid a mess and check for...- fast 99

If charcoal can is gone that's a problem if not converted correctly. Vented and non-vented caps, return line from pump 2- or 3-line senders. It might be easier to install a charcoal can than pulling tanks and changing the pump. Other than adding the complexity of a few hoses those cans do not...- fast 99

Air flow and ambient temps, have a lot to do with pressures. If you want to verify that pour a little cold water on the condenser with gauges hooked up. -

Brake rubbing sound?
Weak return springs on drum brakes can cause noise. Unless the noise is isolated to either front or rear de-squeak both ends. Clean slides, scuff rotors and lube front brakes.- fast 99

What causes cylinder wear like this?
To me it appears improper bore and or hone finish. Could be ring flutter or excessive ring land wear? The good part, does not appear to be using oil by rings. Car Covers company is a sham dealership, I purchased a Cover for my 86 K10 and used it about two months before it started coming apart.
Have a couple Covercraft covers for inside storage, nice. They do make covers for SB and outside, expensive. Do agree about outside covers doing damage. Unless overloaded or abused properly torqued lug nuts do not fall off. That said, GM used hub centric wheels from the factory. Many aftermarket wheels are designed to fit other brands with larger centers. Thus, they are not hub centric on GM. Just something to think about.- fast 99

That's news to me didn't know that was copied. I don't like much of the new or reproduction parts out there. If you can rebuild/repair OEM stuff your better off.
