    I juat feel like a floor mpunted switch is too "in plain sight" The mag reed switch wouldnt be a pain in the ass if it was mounted discretly within reach youd just swipethe magnet

    well, I guess i could install this like shown, and also a second toggle on the coil wire. kind of a double whammy. if they got the starter powered back up theyd still have to find the toggle for the dizzy

    so, im assuming you could use this kit on the distributor coil wire? and i still am unclear, would you have to swipe it once to apply power (closing the switch) and complete the circuit, and then once you turned the ignition key off on the column, the switch loses power and opens, cutting power...

    Apparently it can be done easily. I seem to remember this happening to me on dads black 86 before, but i couldnt remember the solution. Now i do. Bulbs were in wrong. These aint no cheap bulbs either....$6 for 2

    I put 1157 in i thought...that had the two different filiments. When i turn the markers on, they are.super bright and they wont blink when commanded too........

    yeah, the kill switch for the distributor is what I'm thinking of doing, I just want to make it harder to find than a simple push button on or right under the dash. Any good thief that is the first thing they look for

    I'm thinking of mounting a key switch somewhere in the truck, I havent decided yet, but basically one side would be to ground, and the other to the tach. right? I'm not sure exactly where to put the wire on the tach, i hve just the regular stock distributor. also. I wanted to do another kill...

    Thanks guys, i was able to move the rear bumper in 2", it has bothered me for years how far it stuck out. Also, if you cant afford new bilstien shocks, just sand and paint your ild ones, then throw some random srixkers on there lol!
