Greasy, oily dirty arse motor & trans
CRC Brake cleaner and carb cleaner work quite well and are usually way cheaper than gunk. Menard's puts both on sale quite often for 2 bucks a can and I buy a lot of it then. It evaporates pretty quickly so best to saturate a section at a time. Cover sensitive electrical and pressure wash in... -
305 vs 350 - Everyday use
Ordered and bought a new K10 swb in 86. Was told then that the only V8 available was the 305 so that's what I got. Don't recall the rear end ratio but the truck couldn't get out it's own way. Pulling anything was horrible. Suffered with it until I could get a new one in 89. 350 w/373 was a tire...- Lil'm

I cannot provide a definitive answer to that. I just feel that in most, cases striping is best applied to closely follow/ mimic the body lines and sheet metal creases in the vehicle and that is what was done in this case. Somewhere I have a sales brochure for this vehicle and if I can dig it up...- Lil'm
