    305 vs 350 - Everyday use

    Ordered and bought a new K10 swb in 86. Was told then that the only V8 available was the 305 so that's what I got. Don't recall the rear end ratio but the truck couldn't get out it's own way.     I cannot provide a definitive answer to that. I just feel that in most, cases striping is best applied to closely follow/ mimic the body lines and sheet metal creases in the vehicle and that is what was done in this case. Somewhere I have a sales brochure for this vehicle and if I can dig it up...
