What new tools have you got lately?

Hey bro! Look at the HF icon series! they’re STOUT and RUNNING a 20% off RIGHT NOW. I’m thinking about hangin the lockers off the side of my Matco boxes. Overall height of the locker would be about 4 inches taller than my Matco box/ hutch... so I’d have to order shorter casters to make the top...

Alright boys.. I cut the rivets off but haven’t notched the frame yet... lemme tell you I started this off with the grinder the other day... it was as slow as you’d expect and the grinder can’t get into the nooks and crannies. The plasma performed as well as I expected... maybe a little...

    Brake booster

That’s what common sense told me as to pedal height. I have the rod tightened all the way down and it seems high to me still. Guess I’ll have to live with it. I was hoping it was one of those situations that was counter intuitive. Alas it isn’t. Thank you sir

    Brake booster

Was swapped out yesterday. My 1973 c10 got a fresh booster yesterday. I have a verrrry high pedal and big feet. The pedal is definitely higher than it was before and has quite a bit of free play before actuating the brakes. The booster to pedal rod... if this is “lengthened” does this lower...

    02 Cluster in a 73 C10

It’s much easier to use the 90–91 suburban cluster. Fits and looks correct.

Help! Four Link bushings falling apart.

Are you running the bolts in basically hand tight? Then dropping the truck on its own weight and then torquing? You don’t wanna torque it unsprung or unbagged in your case.

    LS Swap AC Location

My debate on em is, one day I might want a little pro charger right there.

    LS Swap AC Location

Yeah.. a lot depends on what adapting plates you used for the engine. YoU might have to modify the factory bracket ( cut it) Or make one. The compressor you have is the correct one ( Non-Variable). Then get fitting adapters or have custom lines made.

    LS Swap AC Location

Most bolt it up high on the passenger side. People that keep it low managed to utilize a gmt800-900 non variable style compressor

    Cab Mounts

I ordered poly from summit. Summit is always quick to me and has great customer service. I have no complaints with poly bushings. rubber may have lasted 20 years but poly will last your lifetime. Just depends if you wanna do it again.

    Cab swap Questions

That would depend on the state. Out her in commifornia you need to present both sets of paperwork to the dmv. Typically the registration out here follows the frame.
