    Mutha trucking Vintage Air

Cool will do. Mine might be a little different. I shaved off most of the old holes in the fire wall. I retained a couple thinking it was going to be used for the vintage air kit. I was wrong. Should have welded em up. I’ll still put plugs in em.

    Mutha trucking Vintage Air

Got my kit today... going to slap er together but noticed I’m missing the AC o ring lube... Any off the shelf replacements I can use? I only ordered the evap kit I’ll work on the other parts later. Easy way to break up the costs.

    NV4500 Swap - Clutch/Hydraulics Dilemma

The master itself is indeed. The throw out is from the 05 nv4500 and has a similar fitting on it. I seen the master on the 05 has that same roll pin line lock. Gotta be something out there to adapt to it, I’d think.

    NV4500 Swap - Clutch/Hydraulics Dilemma

The fitting goes into the bottom of the masters with that little roll pin?

GMC Savana, Plus a Chevy Express Now Too

That 8.1 is a PIG! But I have been kicking around the idea of swapping one in my OBS 98 c1500. With the NV4500 I think it would be pretty sweet. HOLY SHIT @bucket TEN kids!?

    Crazy question

I’d be immensely tempted to cut it out. Hammer a curve into a piece of 18 GA and weld it in. Get it close as you can THEN arias some body filler to round it out. might be just as easy to get the shape right with the weld patch.

    Emergency brake warning light

There’s a thread on here that I piggy backed on once. It believe it was @AuroraGirl who Started the tread. It did indeed have a switch on the parking brake. Like the brake light switch. Once depressed it turned on the light on the dash. My truck doesn’t have one either and I blew through brand...

    help with wilwood install

You don’t step down “the line” you step down or up the flare fittings with adapters. Find what thread and pitch your line fittings are then find what the Wilwood prop needs. Thread the adapters into the wilwood then the lines into the adapters. Are you keeping the stock prop valve in its location?

    Brake line crimped and leaking

Hard to tell I think by 91 gm was already throwing in the oddball metric fitting. My guess is the fitting is 1/4 tube 7/16-24 inverted flare. The bracket may be rivited to the frame or welded. But the connector that passes thru that bracket sure isn’t. it’ll have some clips holding it in. Just...

    2wd to 4wd conversion

I have converted more than a couple two wheel drives to 4x4. It’s not that hard. I have done leaf springs, 4 link and radius arms. Make the front crossmember then measure off it to the rear brackets. The real issue if uneven is the “crab walk” but it’ll still track strait, If aligned.

    Wheel spacers

I’m not a fan. I have seen them break. Still have one hangin up in the garage from it snappin on a buddy’s vette. Sure it was hot doggin it but that’s what I do in my truck. I float around the corner here and there and don’t wanna risk it. I hear a lot of guys get away with it but we aren’t...

    Dash replacement

Yep. Mine was mutilated. Once you float out the holes and glue on the vinyl covering it’s hard to tell there was ever an issue.

    2wd to 4wd conversion

I’d cut this spring pocket off and remove that upper bracket and weld a plate over the opening. That’ll clean up the wheel well and is completely ok structurally.

Power door locks - replacing actuator

If I remember correctly the actuator just kinda pops into the rod.... I’m having a hard time remembering. As for the lock actuator it just hangs on the inner door panel skin thing. Two bolts go thru the panel and into the actuator.

Revisiting K10 vs K20 vs K30 frame specs.

Well color me surprised. I thought they just said blazer on em!

    What is this????

Well the 1/2t 2wd axles were 6 lug until like 70 or 71. The spring perch distance remains the same for 4x and 2wd and the lead count goes more toward 1/2 ,3/4 or 1ton. I think the WMS changes between the 2wd and the 4x. But I’m not 100% sure on this one. Maybe measure it. And I’ll compare it...
