    it has one on there, still hits the big mushroom looking thing on the egr... edelbrock sells an adapter arm but its $60... edit: no longer need to worry, im switching over to a no smog truck... (very happy about that!)

    i agree, maybe recheck your dtc and just retime it. coul;d be 180" off... timing for sure if youve got gas and spark,,, twist the distributer while youre cranking the motor over

    looks like a holley double pumper but i could be wrong... I ran one on a 305 back in the day, edelbrock perf intake and headers, ran good for me. guess you wont know till you open it up, rebuild and try to run it.

    id rev my 305 in my old 77 longbed up to 6k, edelbrocl intake, holley dbl pumper, dual exhaust with flows... miss that truck! sounded like a nascar! so heres my smog related question, the PO took off the egr valve and installed an edelbrock carb, the egr wont go back on to smog the thing...

    whats a spud? I can get two bolts in on one side but the other is about 1/8" off... thats why i thought about drilling the crossmember bolt hole larger... thanks
