    Got the oil drained out. There was definitely of goldish tint to some of it. Might be hard to see in the pics.

    I’ll pull the belt and see if the engine spins. That would be a dream outcome to have an accessory locked up instead of the engine.

    Did not overheat. oil psi was just over 30 mark on the gauge. I will drain the oil in the next couple days and report back with pics. thanks guys.

    Leaf spring bushing destroyed. What would cause this?

    I’m not being a smartass. How do you lube them? Does the actual zerk fitted bolt work? I always kind of thought that was a gimmick but I don’t have any firsthand experience with them. Do you use regular chassis lube? Something like Lucas thick and tacky? thanks.

    Leaf spring bushing destroyed. What would cause this?

    According to ORD website it’s is a Kevlar/poly mixture of bushing and appears to be sized larger than the stock bushings. I would send the pic to ORD and see what they have to say. Maybe it’s an issue they are aware of?

    Not my pictures. there’s a guy on another forum that used steps for a 2016, 1500. said he got the brackets from a Facebook group for squarebodys. ghosted the forum when everybody was asking who exactly made the brackets. not my pictures.

    HF plastic welding kit

    Hi gang, Im looking to repair the “plastic”? Splash shield thing that screws into the bottom rear of the front wheel well. Mine is cracked around the mounting screw. Would the Harbor Freight plastic welding kit work on this? Any other ideas for repair? Thank you

    Eye bolt shackle help.

    I just did mine. I placed silicone grease between all metal and polyurethane. Even put a bit on the bolts through the sleeves. Once the truck was on its wheels I bounced on the bumper a few times to try and help settle everything before I torqued the bolts. not saying this is the only way...
