I have an honest question as I've not seen this be done before. Instead of the axle half shaft can't you just run a 2wd hub if you've essentially turned your righ from 4wd to 2wd whether it be for a short term or long term?

No doubt! I'd LOVE to get into a 67-72 but rotten junk is 1,500 - 3,000 on those trucks. Anything reasonably solid is near 10k and higher. I ran across one on Marketplace a few months back. Literally, not a panel on the truck that didn't have cancer in it and needed full drivetrain. Asking $4k...

I'm always leery about short bed conversions as I can only imagine the hackery that may lie underneath that thing depending on the skill level of the seller. And why would you pick a C20 or C30 to convert to shortbed rather than getting a 1/2 ton if that's what you're going to do?

Yeah, I was thinking 2,500 to 3,000 is the appropriate range. I figured I'd wait to see if the guy drops it near $3k and then start hitting him up at seeing if he' take $2100 and go from there LOL

Really Jonesing for this truck but I'm waiting to see if the price continues to fall. Currently asking 4750 but was up at 5500 just a few days ago. It's a 1991 Sonoma ST, 5 speed, 2.8 (eww) that appears to be 100% stock other than it's lowered a little bit. Picture quality is awful even by my...

    3+3 $750

Absolutely agree with all of the above. I won’t buy a rig without a title unless it’s just for parts. I was just saying that, depending on the state you’re in, it may be worth looking into. And I also agree with keeping track of a title. If a person has “lost” the title red flags automatically...

    3+3 $750

Definitely worth the price if a guy was in the area and also had the space. Most states you can file for a new title with a little bit of work

I prefer a tint on the windshield, too. I usually get 50% on my rigs

Old man constantly asked to drop his truck.Any stock height C10s left in the world??

Isn't it for most things in life, tho? I get annoyed and people make "blanket statements" about how a car/truck is ruined simply because it's been lowered or lifted or because of any other modification without knowing the quality of the work that went into it. With that said, it's real easy to...

My C10 is stock height but I've had a few lowered rigs. Stock/lowered/lifted is all just preference in taste. When done right, you can have any of those looks and the trucks function 100% has intended

    Old77's Jeep Thread

I never waved either. The wave came from when vets came back from WWII. Most folks who drove jeeps after the war were vets so they waved to their war brothers. So that one makes sense for how it started but really doesn't make sense today. Obviously, Betty running to Walmart and driving passed...
