I thought the same thing but if you look closely the headlight adjustment openings are correct. Someone in the past removed the chrome trim and reinstalled it upside down. It's on my list of things to do.... -

Thanks Rob. It doesn't have a cat, and during an extensive search for the factory system and parts, there was no cat listed. It's an '85 with a 350.- CRM

Thanks, but that drawing is extremely hard to read. The part you circled is the manifold vacuum source. There is a tee in that circuit.- CRM

Emissions issue
Someone in the past has messed with the smog system. The smog pump is gone. Upon inspection of all the lines, I've come to the conclusion it's messed up. Today I pulled that ugly black tow bumper. I've ordered a chrome bumper to match the front bumper. Does anyone have an idea as to how much I could sell the bumper for? -

Sunday session: Installed the new sun visors and brackets. Attempted to finally take it out on the road but the clutch pedal had to hit the floor before I was able to (barely) shift it into reverse. I looked for an adjustment but found none at the master or slave cylinder, or the pedal rod... -

Afternoon session: Installed the transfer case skid plate. My OCD motivated me to install the 2 gauge red wire from the battery to the starter. Used a wire brush and brake cleaner to clean the front diff cover in preparation for a fluid change and installation of a Lubelocker gasket. -

Morning Session: Found the armrests and installed them. The only thing left in the interior is to install the gauge panel, bezel, and radio. I also pulled the thermostat and housing and cleaned up all the surfaces. I installed a higher end Felpro gasket that doesn't require any rtv, etc. I'll... -

Morning session: I scuffed up the door panels and repainted them. Repainted the defrost grills too. Polished the hubaps and discovered something interesting when I got to the rear set. Just added painting out the emblems, and painting the rims, onto the list too. -
