    well they are 2nd gen f body specific as far as I know but still, expensive on ebay. I may have found a hood, it's about an hour from me, but it's got surface rust, if I can get it cheap enough I'll try to get as much as I can off, use some rust treatment/reformer stuff, the kind that turns it...

    the list of hard to find or expnsive parts is adding up. of course I need the hood they want 3-400 for a new one NOT including truck freight. both side lower grilles, they are like $100 each on ebay seat tracks, one on each side is broke and they want an easy $100 or so on ebay for them

    I'm leaning that way because it came in there stock, on the other hand much much chaper to do chevy, since I already have all the parts to rebuild it minus cam and lifters.

    Alright guys I've got an 83 wth quad stacked lights, and I'm swapping it over to 79 round headlight front, single round dual beams. y question is can I grab a single headlight harness, from like an 84 or so or even a 79 or so truck with single lights and be simple plug and play with my fuse block?

    HA exactly right them stupid hood scoops going one way on one side and the other on the other side. That and fake looking crap headers sticking out the side vents lol I like the 4 into 1 style that hooker or dougs have or the cheap version that patriot makes, not something like those above lol

    I found some rust in the car, the upper windshield frame, not too bad going to treat it with the floors, got por15 on order, should be in soon. My wife wants it green, she picked out a nice green lil darker then a factory 79 corvette green and alot more flake to it. not bad on price either one...

    looks like she has original engine as well the suffix code is ZAB which comes backas 79 350 l48 at fed says 4 bolt main but I thought I read only some l82's were 4 bolt and the 48's 2 bolt who knows. I'll see if later I can get it better and see if the partial vin matches
