I always love the threads on manifold verses ported vacuum and I think I've read them all. I run manifold vacuum on both of my 350's, the one I built myself and the one that was bought from a guy who had it ported. I also use Edelbrock carbs and intakes on both. Manifold vac is the only way mine...- donnieray

Well, it rained like hell last night and the leak is gone! Now I have to do the same fix to my 86 C10 with heat only cab. -

New ACC Carpet
I just installed the same carpet, love it. I had my sills but it was still nerve racking. I trimmed as close as I could to the weather strip and the sills went in nicely. My head ache was cutting out for the floor shifters. -
Water on floor
I'll share this in hopes it may help someone. My 84 K10 has a wet spot below the passenger kick panel that I was determined to fix since I just installed new carpet. I could see water drip off of the bottom front of the kick panel (ac truck) but couldn't find any water above the panel. I pulled... -

Seat belt bolt removal tips?
I was able to get mine loose with a 24v Kobalt 1/2" impact. My 84 K has the bolts with hex heads though. -
What spark plugs make the difference?
Delco R45TS in both of mine. They work well, don't cost much and hell, I change plugs every year anyway.- donnieray
