Help Identifying lift height
had a blazer with 33's and a 4" lift, looks exactly the same height as yours. quite the gap between your roof and camper overhang. my camper sits about 3" above my roof- Rumbledawg

as his china tires are split pretty bad on the sidewalls, we ordered some new Cooper Cobra Radial GT's and some new rims. wheels showed up today, still waiting for the rubber, but decided to see how they look anyways. factory locking lug nuts and of course the car didn't come with the key...2...- Rumbledawg

4” Lift K20 Bilstein 5100s too short.
yeppers same prob, too short shocks. called the manufactor and told them they were too short (8" lift). after sending them a pic of my susp, they sent me shocks for a 10" lift and (bonus) told me i could just keep the shorter shocks.- Rumbledawg

Extremely loose steering
when running bigger tires, there are a few things you can do to make it steer better. besides the obvious, checking your tie rod ends, draglink, pitman, etc for wear, best thing to do is get rid of the reman box and get a quality built box. the quality of a reman is a crapshoot, and bigger...- Rumbledawg

actually my truck is a little over 7' to the drip rails and the camper overhang is 4' 4", just under 12 ft tall. prob right at 12 if ya count the fridge vent. you do have to watch out for low bridges, low power lines, low flying airplanes...... and with a wheelbase bigger than a 2 dr JK, flex...- Rumbledawg

well, i have been wheeling lifted rigs since the late '70's when there was not nearly the selection of equipment there is now...and i do live in the mountains if your having stability probs, it ain't built right. almost 12 ft high wit the camper and it gets us out to where "there is no people...- Rumbledawg

wouldn't worry about the stability thing either. it's 'bout as accurate as saying don't sit too close to the tv or you will wreck your eyes, or self loving will make hair grow on your palms... i laugh at "stability"...- Rumbledawg

New Gas Tank
find a good tank first, then find a vendor who has that tank at the best price. i replaced the tanks in my crewy with Spectra tanks. there not offshore, made in Canada and their a tier 1 supplier to many auto company's. very good quality. i replaced my tanks in 2010, 2 coats of Por 15 and 2...- Rumbledawg
