It took about 3 hours to do that side. And about $25 dollars worth of media. Verses hauling all the pieces and paying a lot more! -

Thats why mine got a LS upgrade, if it had been numbers matching I would have rebuilt the 350! -

Finished the passenger door, what ever glue they used for the rubber seal around the door is strong. I had to wire wheel it off the blaster wouldn't do it. Started on the drivers side door ran out of steam -

Blasted the passenger side door, still more to do, drivers side tomorrow! -

That was some work to get that off! I didn't have the tools to remove mine, so she's still attached and checked with the torque wrench. I didn't bug it at all. -

Have you figured out what front axle you have? There are some clues on the pumpkin and axle. I got parts from several different sites one being, https://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/ There are a host of others but you need to identify exactly what you have. I got my spindles off of Amazon and saved... -

Sealed all the spots I could find that need it. Next up primer and a lot of sanding! -
Bed swap
My short bed 73 has one sleeve on the drivers side, 2nd position! So only one long bolt? Go figure? Might be the gas tank config? Mine always had 2 tanks, but the Drivers side was added, custom tank and the install was wierd a couple of the few bolts I had to cut during the strip down.- hoagster

Yes, I got it from Auto metal direct! And put it together very frustrating getting all the bolt holes lined up. -

Oh and so I finally got back to the cab! still stripping. which begs a question to @Grit dog I'm ready to lay down some DTM primer from Tamco, but because of time I have layed a layer of rattle can rustolem everywhere I stripped it down to the metal. Any words of wisdom! -

It wouldn't fit between the frame rails low. But my truck is a 4wd yours is 2wd. Here's a pic to show you were mine will go, thats a holley upper mount. -

If it will fit down low you can find brackets everywhere cheap. I have a K-10 and I couldn't drop my engine in without removing the compressor. -
one piece or two piece vent windows?

Would be a good idea, what did you find when you pulled the old ones? My dad like Certs, I found 2 rolls of them a old lighter and a couple of 22 shells when I tore mine down.
