You can pick whether you want to put the track bar on top or under the knuckle and I had read that if it is on top it is more stable and gives you more ground clearance so that’s what I pick. Spent hours today drilling out the Reid racing knuckles with a 7/8 drill bit so I can flip the track bar and finally get this boy back together. I went through one Dewalt 1/2 hammer drill already. This is no easy job.- TheHoundsman

That is what I am hoping for. My Burb is on 35s with a 4 inch lift and honestly was really hard to keep in the lane at 65 mph. I will have the crossover steering kit, quick ratio steering box and this steering shaft all installed hopefully this weekend so I’ll let you know if it worked as I hoped.- TheHoundsman

Will do. I bought the GM version from summit. I am almost positive that the steering column had been replaced previously. The original invoice definitely says it has a tilt steering wheel but this one definitely does not tilt. So it may be that when whoever replaced it did the work they put some...- TheHoundsman

Ha, I am not sure I will ever tackle a major rebuild. I think I am doing more of the "Glamour" work. I can't see myself ever having the courage to do engine or transmission work, but I guess who knows?
