What new tools have you got lately?

Got these for Father's day. The 7 inch grinder is a beast. Yes got the HF tire changer... I'm going to upgrade it. There are some good upgrade tips on YouTube.

What new tools have you got lately?

I was just given some steel tubing today. Could you use a old brake drum to hold the tire and wheel? I've seen the duck head thing. I've seen a video on YouTube and the guy made a few upgrades, and his wife was able to change a tire. I like your idea of just building my own.

Just got this in the mail. Centering jig for narrowing a Ford 9 inch... getting ready to cut the rear-end down for the 82 2wd Blazer.

What new tools have you got lately?

Thanks guys for the comments. I don't do much with tires. I have a great tire shop right by my house. They do a great job, and always cut me a deal. I just thought it might pay for it self, just for breaking down tires. Might not waste the money, and just take them to the tire shop.

What new tools have you got lately?

What is your honest opion of thr tire changer? I've seen a few YouTube videos on upgrades for 70-80 bucks more. I don't need to change 37s, but I need to break down some tires so I can sandblast the Ralley wheels. Let me know.

    Made a new tool

Made a foot operated shrinker/shretcher stand. I used some stuff I had in the shop. Some four link bars, and ends. I made the top plate spin so I can use which ever one I need. Takes up less space. Not quite fi ished with it, but that's the basics of it.
