Looking for 1973-1974 GMC Tailgate lettering.

This is my friend's '74 GMC Sierra Camper Special. It has the lettering like you are looking for. The chrome letters were an option on fancier pickups. I saw your ad on Bisman looking for the letter C. Wish I knew where another one was for you!

    Intake Manifold EFI 350

Look at Harristuning.com if you want to keep the TBI system. Quite a bit of suggestions on cams and what parts to achieve different power levels on that website.

    1978 Silverado 4x4 custom?

Interesting that it says automatic transmission and doesn't mention 4 wheel drive. Is that the correct sheet or has your pickup been converted?

72-older SBC ram horn manifolds on a 73-up?

Took a couple pictures of the ram horns my dad used on his '77. The brown pickup in the center of the first picture is the pickup. The drivers side has a swept back outlet and looks like there is no issues with clearance or anything like that. I thought it was rather interesting that he had a...

72-older SBC ram horn manifolds on a 73-up?

If you are still wondering, I'm pretty sure my dad put ram horns on his 77 C10 when he swapped a V8 in place of the original 250 I6. I will take some pictures.

    1970 C50 2 Ton advice

I have a '67 C50 former grain truck that I use as a dump truck and a '68 C50 winch truck. I agree with @PrairieDrifter that the brake parts are easy to get and they are actually quite good. There would be no reason to go through all the work to convert them. Wheel cylinders can start leaking...

    305 to 350 swap

Check out https://harristuning.com/Tbi/ I had them burn a custom chip for me and am pleased with the results. They also have a lot of recommendations on engine modifications that work best with GM TBI.

    Trailer tires

Hankook now makes trailer tires. I have been running the Vantra Trailer load range E. They seem much better built than the Carlisle or whatever other Chinese cheapo's are out there. They are a mid range price, more than the cheapo's, but less than Goodyear.

https://www.bismanonline.com/1979_chevy_big_10_c_f4 I was cruising through our local want ads and saw this. Quite the option list.

Noob here looking for help deciding wether to purchase a new crate motor or do an engine re-fresh

Man, I’m glad I don’t live in CA! I know the climate is nice there, but why do you all put up with the rest of the B.S. to live there?!?

Timing on GM GoodWrench Crate Engine?

I have seen where the outside of the harmonic balancer “slips” and the timing marks get off. I wonder if this could be the problem?

    OPINION: Favorite Two-Tone Paint Schemes...

When I was younger, I didn’t like that style of two tone, but now I appreciate it more.

    1979 350 carb into r10 tbi 305 truck

Check out https://harristuning.com/Tbi/ Depending on the grind of the cam, you may want to consider having a custom chip burned.

“What’s up with that old truck” Need help with identification!

Looks like it has had a repaint at some point. Since you are in MN, check for bondo over rust repairs on the cab corners, rockers, and around the wheels. If they are all solid and the floor boards and cab mounts look good (crawl underneath and check), then I’d say go for it. Cool pickup for sure!

    Correct wheel for a 1975

I think most 3/4 tons in the 70’s with 16” wheels came with 7.50-16’s, which are actually closer to 235/85R16’s. 265/75R16’s are about the same diameter as the 235/85’s, but they are wider and look better (and are more stable).

    ‘82 Burb with a 205 T-case?

https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/littleton-83-c10-k10-chevy/7329364854.html This looks like a decent suburban. Looks like a 205 T case shift handle in the pics. Was that an option in the early ‘80’s?

    Dual carburetors on 250 I-6?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/194065096893?hash=item2d2f2e60bd:g:OxwAAOSwL3hggIBg Here is an example of one. I believe this one is an earlier Muncie version. The Saginaw ones had 7 bolt side covers I believe.

    Dual carburetors on 250 I-6?

There are 3 speed manuals that had an OD on them (like @DoubleDingo 's Crusty Biscuit) that used the column shift. They were an option in the 60's pickups. They have an electric solenoid that is activated by a speed governor I believe that shifts them into OD once you hit a certain speed. The...

    Dual carburetors on 250 I-6?

I agree with @DoubleDingo 's post about checking 12Bolt.com. Call him, I have heard really good things about that guy.
