Mysterious wire under the dash
Looks like that one belongs in the column, been ages since I tore apart a column but it looks familiar and the plastic sheath keeps it tucked in nicely since space is a premium.- mxer147

Pounded out some minor dents in both rear wheel wells. -
New tires and painted rims!
I purchased a set of them Goodyear workhorse tires too, agree on your assessment and they are fairly priced tire with great ratings. I plan to mount my wheels this summer. Your wheels are looking much better and will look even better with some dog dish caps.- mxer147

USA-1 Seat Covers

Intake manifold bolts stuck
Dig that oil goop out of there and you should be able to get a wrench on it, use a good quality 12 point, if needed, but prefer a 6 point. Worse case, dremel that crud behind the bolt head to get a wrench on it.- mxer147

Alternator?
The no idle condition was a bad MAF sensor, misfiring was from bad ignition coil and spark plug wires. I believe it’s road worthy again after also replaced the power steering pump and replaced the o-rings in the two aluminum elbows. Still have a minor oil and tranny pan gasket leak to resolve...- mxer147

6.2, diesel’s are awesome, way more to work with to improve it. However, I wouldn’t waste my time driving it during the winter season especially the very cold days. Working at the dealership in the 80s, we would tow the diesel into the shop rather than trying to get them started out in the cold...- mxer147

The Doors! It will be a twenty footer and maybe a ten footer after a wet sand and buff. Spraying plenty of paint to flatten it out later. One knatt had to be extracted, paint didn’t lay down very well today for some reason? -

Squirted some more orange peel, not a single bug to pick off the orange peel, NICE! This nice weather is perfect for making progress. Probably shoot the other side of “the doors” tomorrow. -
