I removed the inside bed side spare tire carrier, two bolts were stubborn so I had to get creative with a drill, side cutter, chisel and hammer…..more welding now needed for the mounting holes. -

Citristrip the door and kick panels, arm rests, door straps and trim. Also, the drip rails. I now have to figure out the path forward for refurbishing and what I am gonna buy new, hopefully not much because it’s crazy expensive and I’m a cheap SOB. I’m looking forward to getting some of this... -
Terrible gap
You need to make sure everything is square on the front starting with the core support, from there match up the other panels. Be sure to have body shims to make slight adjustments, take your time and take a break if you get frustrated. Square it up by confirming the corner to corner measurements...- mxer147

Prepping Plastic for Paint
I’m deciding on restoring my interior plastic panels, I have read a lot on here and purchased the SEM coating solution, adhesion promoter and dye. Is it really dye, and it changes the plastic to a different color or is it a coating that could scratch off and/or fade with UV rays? My truck...- mxer147

Thank you Ricko, do you have a hack for a paint booth since I have been using Mother Nature’ paint booth? Never considered a water heater, too late now since I already painted 1/2 the truck. Your problem solving skills are outstanding, I enjoy reading your responses, always spot on. -

I didn’t use any chemicals to remove the paint, only a razor blade scraper and a little bit of heat. I again was lucky with the tailgate and heat was direct sunlight. -

More sanding on hood and both fenders after I fixed several dents. I also scraped the paint off the tailgate.
