    I’m pretty pissed!!

Yup. It's all about lowest bidder price shopping. Not shopping for value or quality. All the questionable Chinese stuff on the market for a slightly lower cost is killing off the decent stuff.

    14bolt FF size vs 10bolt

Around here, they are getting harder to find, especially the 8-lug stuff. I believe the average 8-lug front is $300-400 now.

What have you done to your square lately??

Rusty is still tag-able, his user name just has a space in it. I would have just tagged him to show it, but I figured I wouldn't bring his attention to here if it wasn't necessary.

Problems with Fit on not one, but two new rear bumpers for 78 C10 fleetside

You also don't have the license plate pocket installed. That pocket actually adds a lot of rigidity to the center of the bumper. Loosen up all the mounting bolts, even the ones on the frame. Then hope that the bumper returns to it's correct shape on it's own. It looks to me like the center...

    Newer Model Bed

I've always liked the look of an '88-'98 bed on a custom '67-'72 truck. It was a somewhat common sight to see in the early and mid 90's. Stepside and fleetside. I've seen the newer bed on a squarebody truck a couple times too. It looks absolutely terrible, imho.

    Toe adjustment 1987 V10

I use what is essentially a telescoping stick, and measure off of the inside of the sidewalls. I set it to the front of the tires and then compare to the rear of the tires, looking for just the right amount of gap. The crappy part is having to lay down under the vehicle, but the results are...

    Toe adjustment 1987 V10

But clearly seeing they are out is a lot different than them actually being toed out. It happens very often, where people look at their tires and think they are way out of wack. Personally, I can gap spark plugs with my eyes (typically within .003, I've been tested many times by disbelievers)...

Anyone running wipers bigger than 16" oem?

That illustration in the Anco pdf looks like the correct adapters. With those, you can use any blade that is designed for use with the modern j-hook.

My buddy used to have a '91 K5 in Brilliant Blue Metallic. I thought it was a GREAT looking color.

    8.1 vortec into 1979 k30

Mine is a medium duty setup. It has the alternator on the passenger side, with the AC and PS on the driver side. It's some kind of ZF pump with a cowl-mounted, clear reservoir. You can see the fluid level at all times.

The stuff on the screws was usually a translucent amber type color. Not sure what it was. More rubbery than gooey.

    Toe adjustment 1987 V10

You might want to measure first. But let's take a step back. Were these parts already installed and you were driving the truck? Did you install these parts and then your tires were way out of alignment? What's the back story here? No matter the scenario however, it would be silly to cut tie...

I just came across this thread and was reading along, thinking the same thing. The O2 sensor wasn't the problem, it was the cam swap on stock tuning.

Anyone running wipers bigger than 16" oem?

Stock is 16", yes. But 18" fit and cover more area. I know people often say that it will cause more stress on the wiper motor, but GM used the same wiper motor on cars with 18" wipers. Personally, I have not found it to stress the bayonet connection. I believe it was @Turbo4whl that had maybe...

Ok, I wasn't sure what your goal was with figuring the desired rpm in 3rd gear. So let me ask you this, how often do you find yourself using overdrive currently? Do you think you will be able to use it more often with steeper gears? What about gearing it really steep, like 4.88's or 5:13's and...

@Mark80K15 I just realized that the link you were referring to was from Summit and it does indeed show them as not available. I'm betting they are still available somewhere.

Do you mean they came pre-installed, for use on J-hook wiper arms? Or they came with the J-hook to bayonet style adapters?

    Driveshaft length

Is the truck stock height with original GM shafts still? If so, yeah it *should* be fine. If it's lifted with stock shafts, the rear should be perfectly fine, but the front may be too short.

Anyone running wipers bigger than 16" oem?

Sometimes the j-hook adapters come with wiper blades, but it's very rare these days. I bought some from Summit Racing a while back. They adapters hang on better to the bayonet better because they are designed specifically for it. Many of the wiper blades that are designed to fit many types...
