Yes.......... Mostly semi-gloss, but a little satin on the "loose" parts. -

Being in the middle of "rebuilding" my old CAs........... Spend the money and get the new ones !! Satisfaction of doing it yourself isn't what it's cracked up to be :rolleyes: -

Finally after 3 days of spraying Liquid Wrench, PB Blaster, etc on the upper and lower control arms.......... I finally got the nuts off. Of course one, buggered up the treads on the very end of the shaft. Worked to fix that (saved getting a new one) I suggest the Brother's Truck Parts video... -

Finally got the &^%$ pitman arm off. Had to cut a slice in it, then air chisel it a bit to loosen it up. -

Removed front suspension stuff........... except for pitman arm. It wouldn't surrender today. For some reason, suddenly, I am unable to post photos........... :Insane: -
Ashtray Light?
It is the most "North East" hole to plug in the holder on the back of the printed circuit. (If looking at it from the seat) Sorry, tried to upload photo but it's a no go.............- PeteJr

It plugs into the upper right inside of the dash panel (if you are looking at it from the seat) like a dash bulb socket ?? The "socket" is in the red circle. (photo below)- PeteJr

LMC Parts
I've had good luck with the stuff I've bought from LMC. They have a fair amount of items made "overseas." I try to find the most things at the same place so I don't have shipping fees from several places. Classic Parts has a better shipping cost than LMC, unless it's oversized, then it's more...- PeteJr

Oh, finally the stars aligned and I got the engine and transmission pulled out of the ol' heap. On to the front suspension and a shipload of cleaning......... -
Which header for a Blueprint Engine
My truck is an '83 GMC 1500 Sierra Classic 2wd. I have the same "what headers to use" question. The aluminum heads on the Blueprint heads have square exhaust ports. I was looking at Hedman for headers. I contacted them and got this answer. Hello - We have had mixed success with our hedders...- PeteJr
