I retired from a very large hardware distribution company. We had access to every make available. I liked using Dewalt the most, 20 volts were really reliable. (Me personally I have DeWalt 18 volts with 2 dead batteries, 1 half-ass and 1 good one) We had Milwaukee and their distribution center... -

Thanks for the info, Benny. I'll keep that in mind. I have been to the track before too. Won the "Cool Coupe" award at a Goodguys show for the '32 Ford 5-window a few years ago. Also, with a Buc-ee's & In-N-Out Burger across the road, what else do you need?? HA !! -

truck is not sitting level - need help diagnosing
My '83 sits lower on the driver's side. My theory is the gas tank and (usually just) the driver on that side for 37-38 years has weakened the springs on that side. But, a lot of them sit like that as was already stated. It's on my list of things to address.- PeteJr

Disassembled the tailgate and got the letters off. J-B Welded the broken stud and repainted the letters. Fixed the latch molding that was sagging on the right side. Scrapped off some previous owner decals. Painted the hitch ball mount plate. Before After -

Brand Recommendations for front end components.
I'm a little late on this but....... I used to work for TRW Automotive, which was eventually sold to Federal-Mogul. Great engine & chassis parts (I'd say it if I didn't work there) I worked on the NASCAR Cup program and ALL of the teams then used TRW or Moog parts. Both excellent. Just my .02...- PeteJr
