That said I will throw up a couple pics for your input, my Hotrod being a K10 is a bit different having a "console" around the T-case shifter, you will see by the measurements the truck...

    Has anyone installed one of these in an 80's K10 ? Im wondering if it fits on the hump along side the 4x4 console, according to my measurements it's very close, not willing to drop nearly $500 clams to find out it don't !

    Thanks guys that's what I thought, mine is the stock original R4 and no one within reasonable driving distance can build it to handle my motor, it dynoed @ 675hp/715tq... R4 and 60E are very close in cost for a 700/800hp build from most of the big name builders, downfall is the US Shift Quick 4...
