Heater not very hot
This is good information. I once routed my hoses wrong and did not get good flow to heater core. -
I'm sure it's an age old question, K 20 ride quality improvements.

The old trucks ride stiffer than modern trucks. I like my K20 ride. Embrace it. That's part of the reason we drive the old iron. New trucks offer smoother ride.- Shorty81

1973 k20 project. Should I buy brand new 454 bb? or rebuild my 402bb?
Either one would make plenty of power. Leave modern engines for modern trucks. My old Mark IV 496 is a great ol' mill.- Shorty81

Mark IV 454 Engine Build
I have a 496. It's an old 76 454 with a Skip White 496 rotating assembly and .060 over. 781 heads, Weiend dual plane intake 750 Holley. This a very happy big block that gets 11 mpg. I work this truck but drive her gently. I would recommend this setup, but I don't do burnouts, or high RPM. This...- Shorty81
