If you live in PA and see this truck it’s mine!

I was wondering which vehicle you were referring to... thought maybe the F.O.R.D.

    Carb Adapter

Double pumper, mechanical secondaries. Plenty of go but poorer fuel economy. Better choice is a Holley 9895. Vacuum secondaries, an electric choke. Very tune-able, and still available new. The 6210 and 9895 are both, 650 CFM. New they are a lot of money now. You can find them at swap meets as...

    Oil pressure senders

The left picture is a pressure switch for the electric choke (2 terminals). The larger one, on the right, is the pressure sender for the gauge (one terminal).

never jerk a stuck truck with a chain

So at work we have been using continuous loop straps for years. Some trucks weigh more than 15 tons. Safety guy says we need to use one of those kinetic ropes, and he provided one. We pulled the loop end off after a few pulls. I tied a bowline knot and we used it like that. Later when he spotted...

Whip antenna for CB on a Suburban

Yes, this is correct. The reason for the center of the roof is to transmit best, you need a ground plane. the flat roof is good for 360 degree transmissions. Reception is not an issue. With the antenna mounted on the rear fender, transmission will be good out front and okay front left...

Project is stalled. Cannot solve brake problem

I did not know this was a conversion from manual brakes to booster brakes. Other parts may be needed. Did you add the firewall bracket that a power brake truck would have? Some manual brake trucks have the master cylinder bolted right to the firewall, no bracket. Different years had different...

Project is stalled. Cannot solve brake problem

So the next step is back at the proportioning valve. There are 2 types, after you remove the rubber cap on the end of the valve you will see what looks like a nail head or just a straight pin. Remove the the light switch so the valve spool is free to move. The nail head type you pull out, it...

Project is stalled. Cannot solve brake problem

If the rear brakes shoes are not adjusted out to the drums, then you will have trouble bleeding the rear cylinders. Remember the (self) automatic adjusters will only maintain the adjustment. When the shoes are way out of adjustment, the adjusters will not take up any slack. One trick, to bleed...

    Odd Cooling System issue

Two things, if you can see coolant returning to the radiator from the heater core, your coolant level is low. My guess, the new thermostat is stuck open.

    O2 sensor question

The wires would be released from the back of that connector. So the rubber was molded after the connector was assembled. Use a hole that is there. Ideas, remove the fuse block connector from the fire wall, it is behind the fuse block. File a small notch for the cable to be next to the fuse...

You might also find the oil pressure gauge is hard lined to the engine block. (no sender or wires)

Remember When I was asking for help from anyone locally!. Pic's inside.

If the pin part of the bolt is still in hole as Rick stated, you can drill it out. Remove just the right side bearing cap, then with a longer drill bit, there is clearance to drill it out.

^^^ BOOST^^^ When you think about newer vehicles, they mostly have smaller displacement engines. So how do they have enough power? Boost is the answer.
