    Can I use a c60 diesel tach on a 6.2 diesel?

Do you have a CUCV alternator? The Cat engine is most likely a 6 cylinder. Early Detroit 2 strokes have a mechanical tach drive. Not sure about the newer MD truck Detroits. Or something like this: https://www.4btswaps.com/threads/4bd1t-tachometer-pickup-install.15667/

Have any of you replaced engine mounts on a 2012 f150?

What @bucket said. ^^^^ Need to check it first if he calls you back.

Chevy silverado k10 ALL ORIGINAL - $7,650 (Phoenix 1 owner)

I believe it is glossy, because the truck is wet from the rain. The sidewalk and street are also wet.

    Mirror correct for ‘81?

My first car, a '64 Plymouth Fury did not have any outside mirrors. I added one to the driver's side.

    starter rebuilding - advice needed

That is what the grower tool is used to check. Anyone proficiently servicing/rebuilding starters would use a grower to check the armature. Probably the least expensive tool: Also @SirRobyn0 the field coils should be checked for shorts to ground.

    starter rebuilding - advice needed

Besides the brushes, you should buy new brush springs and it's a good idea to get the two insulated brush holders. Two brushes are grounded, the other two are mounted in plastic/bakelite holders. The armature should be serviced. We used a small table top lathe, but you could use a drill press...

    Hot wire junction block

That wire goes to the starter/battery positive cable. It also has a fuseable link and if the truck is still original from the starter that wire goes into the metal tube bolted to the bell housing. That tube protects all the small wires to the starter from the heat of the passenger side exhaust...

    Hot wire junction block

So that means at some point that circuit was slightly overloaded. Any more load at that time, would have burnt that fuse.

Yes, the wire with the arrow is a fusible link.

    Cab light question

No, your reply seemed as though you were not sure. I wasn't sure the OP, Scott saw my post. Now I know he has, and not my intent to be snotty.

    03 Trailblazer Build.

So you know what the truck driver's say "Six in a row will go, V-eights' hesitate." I believe a turbo on an inline six is a great idea if the engine can support the boost.

    Cab light question

 I am sure my reply was overlooked. Must have been because of my side note. The correct bulb for that ID lamp is #67. This is not a guess.

    AC wiring

One thing that is not in the wiring diagram that I can see is a diode. The positive wire to the compressor clutch should have the diode. This is to protect the relay. What happens when you shut off the current to the electro-magnet clutch, the magnetic field collapses. Without the diode, this...

    Parking Light Puzzle

Get a bulb socket cleaning brush, very handy. The bulb has two filaments, dim for the parking lights, bright for the turn signal.

    Hot wire junction block

Not a shunt, just a buss bar connecting link. My question, why would you want to remove what every square truck has? If you want to add any new fused accessories, this is an easy place to connect them.

    Parking Light Puzzle

No, if the rest of the parking lights work, the switch is good. Most likely a bad bulb or corroded bulb socket.

    Cab light question

@midwest Scott, # 67 bulb is what those lights would have from new. On a side note, many old trucks (tractor trailers) would be upfitted with a bulb just like the #67, but it had two filaments in the globe. This way if the first filament burnt out, the second filament, with a higher resistance...

I like Arby's too. Just wish on their roast beef w/cheese they didn't add the bun that has onion on it. The boss was out and about today and she brought Arby's home for dinner. Classic RB, I add my own cheese and a pouch of Horsey sauce!

How many miles? Normal medium to hard miles (no racing) I would say the average would be 200,000 to 300,000 miles. You, may even get more than 300,000+.

FNG here that used the search bar…

Poor picture, pressurized convector lock-up oil also lubes the rear overdrive planetary gear set. I believe GM saw the need for this extra pressure lube.
