I am not the 700R4 guru, but getting the throttle valve cable adjusted correctly is very important. Since you are running an aftermarket carburetor it might be harder set correctly. Well the most I towed with my '85 K10 Suburban when I had it, was a 28' Grady White sail boat on a twin axle trailer. No idea how heavy that rig was for sure, but a Google search, 6000-7000 lbs. The 350 with an auto trans pulled it.- Turbo4whl

This is so true. I had 4 stock wheels and tires from a '78 3/4 ton. Put them up on the corner with a for sale sign. A couple days later I came home from work they were gone. I though my wife sold them for me, no, someone ripped them.- Turbo4whl

It is a shame your spring kit was incomplete. The orange/red spring on the forward shoe is bent, maybe the blue spring as well. That one is hard to see. Yes, the A.I.R. pump plumbing is missing. HC would would be higher. With higher HC, the CO would also go up. This may not be all that is wrong.- Turbo4whl

This control can be installed on a dual master cylinder. On a GM it needs to be installed in the rear brake circuit only. @PrairieDrifter I would rather have this type controller as opposed to an electronic POS that can burn out/fail without warning. -

Poor little 305 gets a bad wrap by many of the members here on this forum. Why, well it has 45 less cubic inches than it's bigger brother, the 350. What is this engine? It's an air pump. What’s wrong with my axle tubes?
The easiest way to remove the axle bearings. Remove both axles. Long homemade drift. 1/2" or 5/8" round stock. For me, I like the the original metal wiper blades. Use them for years and just buy refills. I guess parts houses don't even sell refills any more. -
