    1966 Ford Galaxie 500

reminds me of growing up and we (5 of us cousins) "hotwired" my cousins G500/manual when he was grounded and dad took the keys. That was the first time he didn't woop our ar$e's when we got back. Guessing cuz he was surprised (maybe a little proud) that we figured out how to do it. Miss you...

    Good ball joint brands

May be replacing the ball joints on it. Currently have Moog on them that are ~7 yrs old if I had to guess. My noise may not be ball joints, just trying to plan ahead. Question is, what brands are good? I've read that Moog has fallen off in quality. Dana's are only $5 more per joint higher...

    Starter isssue again

Starting issues with "unknown" positive or negative cable, I jump on those first. I've also learned, if you don't have the cables/connectors, look for vendors in you area that will make them. Should be considerably cheaper/better than most "chain" stores. Here in SE KY I'd expect $35 -45 for...

Thanks, you got me looking. Came across the JBL GTO939. I might have to try them....maybe I'll be able to get rid of my '90s kenwood 8" sub and amp for room behind the seat. Currently have JBL components in the corners with sub/2 amps in the center area. The sub and amps take up all the...

Need help wiring power windows and door locks 83 K1500

I got a door to dash to door harness from someone on here. It was great until things slowed down. I added the LMC relay kit and it helped a bit. not having AC installed was my concern. I was worried I'd be driving home in high heat an not be able to roll the window down. Me out being out of...

What have you done to your square lately??

[edit] quoted wrong post....anyway. When I had saddle tanks I used the silver bubble wrap (insulation) for anti-squeak. You can also use large bicycle tubes or roofing tar paper. Just a thought.

Help me Tom Cruise.. Fuel or Spark Issue??

before I went LS, I came across a 1.5" vacuum gauge on an old peice of medical equipment hitting the dumpster. I bent some cheap metal and mounted it next to the carb. Made myself a mental note of what normal was. This helped out a few times before going LS. Haven't built one for the LS yet.

    New speakers in stock locations?

@JGV66 you can also use your existing behind the seat plates to mount component speakers......if you plan to use a behind the seat sub. If mine looked worth a crap I'd put up pics. Bondo on those plate on a k10 that gets beat around a bit.....doesn't hold well. Have thought about having a...
